 ====== Ethica (Year 2226) ======
+===== Essential Information =====
+  * Humanity originated on Earth, in the Solar System, but has since expanded across numerous distant star systems, establishing colonies throughout human-controlled space.
+  * Several independent governments coexist under the **Interstellar Governance Council (IGC)**, preventing large-scale wars.
+  * Smaller conflicts and wars between factions remain common, particularly in remote systems where authorities frequently turn a blind eye.
+  * The **Ethica Initiative**, sponsored by the IGC, was announced as a major colonization program offering individuals, corporations, and organizations the opportunity to settle a newly discovered star system.
+  * Millions applied for the initiative, but only a limited number were selected through an official lottery. Those selected were promised access to land, resources, and the freedom to establish their own settlements and industries.
+  * The first colonists are now preparing to establish themselves in Ethica, a remote system whose unfamiliar environment presents both extraordinary opportunities and considerable challenges.
+  * With resources scattered throughout the system and no established political authority on the ground, the future of Ethica will depend largely on the decisions of its new inhabitants.
