Ruleset

1. Community & Discord

1. Be Mature.

If Edgelording / Shitposting is your jam, we are probably not the server for you.

2. No Offensive Names/Photos.

3. Be Respectful To Others.

No Bullying, Discrimination, Harassment or other disrespectful activity will be tolerated.

4. Don't Dominate The Channels.

5. Topics should be contained to correct channels.

6. No Unnecessary Pings.

7. No Deliberately Creating Drama.

8. Extensive complaining about server features is not tolerated.

Constructive criticism of our server is welcome, but pejoratives / extensive complaining about systems that you do not like is not. If you have a suggestion on how we can improve, create a thread in the suggestions channel.

9. Ask for permission before advertising anything.

2. Admins, Moderators, Punishments and Rules

1. Respect the Staff and obey their requests.

2. No accusations of rule breaking or discussing player reports in public channels.

Accusations of player rule breaches or admins abusing their power should be made exclusively in a ⁠player report ticket.

3. Arguing a punishment will result in an extension of that punishment.

4. Do not exploit 'loopholes' in the rules.

If you are judged to be intentionally circumventing the obvious intention of a rule, you will likely receive a punishment. Play it safe, and ask an admin if unsure (and receive an amnesty).

3. Roleplay

1. Keep RP believable and sensible. We all want to enjoy the server.

2. Keep certain topics out of our server, will leave it to you to judge.

Report anything too extreme. If someone isn't enjoying the RP, there's a chance there's a reason.

3. Create a backstory for your character. Find a place for them in this world!

4. General Gameplay

1. Common Sense! If something sounds bad it probably is.

An RP server can have complex scenarios where a rule may or may not apply. Check with an admin if you're not sure, and use your common sense.

2. Exploiting, Cheating, and Abusing mechanics are all not tolerated.

If you find a way to exploit a GURP gameplay feature, report it rather than abusing it.

5. PVP

1. No logging out in enemy bases

2. No logging out mid fight. I.E Combat Logging. There'll be no tolerance to this.

3. No KOS.

PvP/Combat will be a very niche sitatuion and should only happen under certain circumstances, such as.

Robbery gone wrong. The one being robbed does not comply with demands.
Does not stop vehicle when warned in either voice chat or warning shots.
Verbal threats/Insults. If you don't wish to fight, do not put yourself into a risky situation.
Any aggressive or hostile actions shown towards others.
Base defenses.
Mutually agreed upon duels, or faction conflicts.

It is recommended if you wish to stay passive and avoid conflict to holster weapons when approaching others. Having weapons out could be seen as a valid hostile threat. Take care.

THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. PLEASE CONSIDER RECORDING SITUATIONS SO THAT ADMINs/MODs CAN SEE PROOF OF ANY WRONG DOING. WE CAN THEN COMP ANY RESOURCES LOST.

6. Base Raiding

1. Please do not use glitches, or exploits to raid a base.

2. Please raid the base how it is intended and via proper access paths.

This ensures we can create unique and interesting RP bases. If you see a base is breaking any rules, please report it.

6. Hostage Rules

1. If you wish to take a hostage, ensure that they are treated well and do not die to hunger/thirst/cold etc.

2. Please mutually agree a time in which they can be a hostage for.

Keeping someone locked up for multiple hours is not permitted.
